i scanned some paintings this morning after not sleeping for like, 404986 hours. that is not cool. me and sleep used to be friends but it got real jealous of my relationship with work.

i just finished this painting for senior project this morning! sweet. this was inspired by a story my friend faye told me about when she lived in st john when she was little and thought that the hills were giant people sleeping under blankets.

i need to start coming up with snappier names for paintings.

the fish drawing is from this class i'm taking, drawing on location, where we go to a different place in nyc every week. this week we went to chinatown. then there's a cake from a sketchbook i had a couple months ago, and some totem poles that i've been doodling everywhere.
